New OC: Altan

Here's a new OC for you; the human/naga hybrid known as Altan!
I know, I suck with backgrounds, but was trying to do something different.....  

I haven't really come up with a set personality for him, apart from that he lives rather like Tarzan. But here's his backstory and I hope you like it.  

Altan was a human who was obsessed with seeing the world through the eyes of other creatures, to see how they lived and how they felt. In his eagerness, he somewhat foolishly concocted a spell that allowed him to shape shift from one creature to another. But a fatal mistake caused the spell to backfire and turn him into a human/naga hybrid (an anthropomorphic snake). Shocked and ashamed of his botched attempt and arrogance, Altan fled into the jungle to live away from prying and accusing eyes. For many years he had honed and mastered his survival skills and at last found content and peace within the jungle. Sightings of Altan are quite rare and the locals call him 'the red watcher'. When he will raise his hooded head again, no one knows for sure.
